Foodja is Hiring an IT Support Technician Near Irvine, CA

The IT Support Technician identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems of moderate complexity. Provides support to end users for computer, application, system, device, access, and hardware issues. The IT Support Technician documents, tracks, and monitors the problem using applicable systems and tools. They respond to telephone, email, and ticketing requests for technical support. In addition, the IT Support Technician may coordinate with other IT team members or departments to resolve user problems.

Responsibilities can include but are not limited to:

  • Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruption.
  • Configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting network related devices such as switchers, firewalls, and routers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve service requests with the appropriate level of urgency and professionalism.
  • A solid understanding of the necessity for, and practice of, basic network, server, workstation, and end user security, and multi factor authentication methods.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
  • Working with and troubleshooting AWS environments.
  • Experience with Structured Cabling and Network Wiring.
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP/DHCP and DNS.

The qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
  • A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans.
  • Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.
  • Microsoft Certified IT Professional
  • AWS Certified
  • 2-3 years Help Desk or Technical Support Experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
