Responsibilities:Immediate need for a Live Production Manager for a chicken grow-out facility in Eastern NC. This role manages and provides direction for 3 hatcheries and 3 feed mills.Specific responsibilities include:

·Communicate effectively with subordinates, peers and senior management and non-company personnel to ensure optimal performance and resolution of problems.

·Develop, implement and monitor Live Production budgets.

·Enforce compliance with company requirements regarding bio-security, food safety and poultry welfare programs and policies.

·Maintain compliance with all local, state and federal regulations as they relate to poultry production.

·Maintain a safe working environment.

·Analyze trends and variables to identify problem areas or successes and take appropriate action.

Requirements:BS Degree in Animal Science is preferred.Other degrees and years of experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.Additionally:

·5 years of relevant experience (with a degree.)

·Poultry husbandry experience

·Hatchery experience

·Broiler experience

·Feed mill experience

·Knowledge of and commitment to Animal Welfare guidelines.

·Knowledge of and commitment to OSHA guidelines for live poultry production and feed mill facilities.
