At FRVH, we are a diverse team of like-minded veterinary professionals who came together to build something unique: A veterinary hospital that focuses on patient care, client service and team members' happiness equally!

Our clients will enjoy a relaxing lounge while our team members will appreciate that each department is designed and operated by individuals who actually work in that field!

About Our Hospital:

FRVH is located in a thriving new development in Folsom, California. The facility is currently being built and is approximately 7800 square feet with ample parking. The hospital will be completed in May 2024 and we anticipate opening in June 2024. With 12 exam rooms, modern equipment, dedicated dental and surgical suites and even a fireplace in our lounge, you won’t find a practice like this anywhere!

RVT/Surgery

• Searching for an experienced RVT (greater than 3 years of experience) to help provide leadership to our surgery service.
• Candidates must be reliable, possess excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, strategic thinking, attention to detail, and be able to multitask while maintaining a friendly and positive attitude.
• Comfortable and proficient with anesthesia, including induction, intubation, monitoring and recognizing complications.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including some weekends and evenings
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative fast paced environment while remaining calm in stressful situations
• Self-motivated learner and willingness to help teach and provide support to veterinary assistants as well as less experienced RVTs.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Professional appearance.
• Previous leadership experience is preferred but not required.
• Be able to lift a 35 pound dog onto an examination table
• Be able to effectively communicate both verbally/written with clients and staff.
