About Our Hospital:

FRVH is located in a thriving new development in Folsom, California. The facility is currently being built and is approximately 7800 square feet with ample parking. The hospital will be completed in May 2024 and we anticipate opening in June 2024. With 12 exam rooms, modern equipment, dedicated dental and surgical suites and even a fireplace in our lounge, you won’t find a practice like this anywhere!

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in the veterinary field or at least be in the fourth term of a Veterinary Technician education program.
  • Candidates must be reliable, possess excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, strategic thinking, attention to detail, and be able to multitask while maintaining a friendly and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including some weekends and evenings.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative fast paced environment while remaining calm in stressful situations.
  • Self-motivated learner and willingness to help teach and provide support to veterinary assistants.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Be able to lift a 35 pound dog onto an examination table
  • Be able to effectively communicate both verbally/written with clients and staff.
  • Perform all essential functions that a RVT is trained to do.
