Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain. You will provide individualized care plans and utilize various techniques to improve mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
Duties:
- Evaluate patients' medical history and perform physical examinations
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other interventions
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, self-care techniques, and injury prevention strategies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience in acute care settings preferred
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
- Proficiency in trigger point therapy is highly desirable
