Foley & Lardner LLP is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist Near Milwaukee, WI

Overview

At Foley & Lardner, we rely on the varied and valuable experience, background, and skills of our business professionals to support our strategic goals and further the success of the firm. We are looking to add a Talent Acquisition Specialist who has a passion for recruiting. This person will serve in a strategic role that supports the firm’s professional staff talent strategy by leading and contributing to various projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition, onboarding and retention with a primary focus on recruitment.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with hiring managers to develop and implement a recruitment strategy to include creative and proactive recruiting methods. 
  • Utilizes an applicant tracking system to manage recruitment and selection processes.
  • Reviews the qualifications of candidates to ensure they meet the requirements of the position.
  • Conduct initial interviews and provides the hiring manager with candidate recommendations.
  • Approves selection of final candidate, recommends salary offer and extends employment offer.
  • Responsible for Affirmative Action and Diversity & Inclusion outreach.
  • Looks for process and procedure improvements, makes recommendations and implements as appropriate.
  • Serves as a mentor for HR Assistants and Coordinators.
  • Conducts exit interviews with departing business professionals 
  • Additional projects and areas of responsibilities as assigned which may include: candidate experience, employer branding, sourcing, interview training, mentor program, reporting & analytics, employee onboarding, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Communication, Business Administration or related field required.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in recruiting or as a human resources generalist required.
  • Previous high volume recruiting and/or professional services experience preferred.
