Foley Equipment is Hiring a Retail Sales Manager Near Kansas City, MO
The Role
As the Retail Sales Manager, you will manage all facets of retail sales activity including online sales. You will direct activities of all personnel involved in the retail and online sales activity. Additionally, you will work with regional sales managers on merchandising and price packaging for retail product.
Job Duties:
- Direct and assist retail sales force.
- Identify retail markets and equipment needs for those markets.
- Management of proper inventories for those markets and proper turnover to ensure profitability.
- Direct the development of the retail marketing plan and sales forecasts.
- Direct the development and implementation of retail sales policies.
- Work with the Parts and Service departments to ensure proper support of retail equipment.
- Prepare and manage budgets; manage and monitor all expenses and approve/disapprove retail sales personnel’s and departmental expenses.
- Assist in development and implementation of strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
- Assist the retail sales force with trade values, and pricing of new and used inventory.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of four years prior sales and/or sales management experience.
- Familiarity with retail equipment market, its uses, and industry needs.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
What Will Put You Ahead:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred.
- Prefer experience in heavy equipment sales.
- Proven experience in marketing, marketing plans and related activities (Rental/CCE) is preferred.
- Experience in inventory control, forecasting, ordering, and terms management.
