Overview
| Serves as a working lead supervisor coordinating activities of workers or service employees engaged in food operations or services. Assists in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees. Assists in monitoring employee productivity and provides suggestions for increased service or productivity. Assists in the supervision of day to day activities of subordinates and assigns responsibility for specific work or functional activities. Orients and trains employees. Performs day to day assignments in addition to lead duties. Works with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service and problem resolution. |
Responsibilities
| ? Holding Employees Accountable o FNS Uniform & Personal Hygiene Policy o Attendance Policy ? Time and Temperature Danger Zone ? HACCP Controls ? Customer Service o Ability to interact with Customers and Staff o Takes Ownership and satisfies client and customer needs and concerns o Ability to provide service recovery if needed ? Flexibility & Productivity o Ability to Handle high stress/pressure situations o Maintain a Professional Manner o Ability to Multi Task ? Teamwork o Ability to build and maintain working relationships with team members. ? Initiative o Ability to Make timely decisions o Ability to complete all duties without reminders ? Dependability o Takes ownership of work and consistently ensures its completed accurately, efficiently and on time o Takes pro-active steps to avoid problems and mistakes o Demonstrates the ability to prioritize activities or tasks\ ? Opening the Cafeteria o Follow Opening Checklist o Making sure that all signs are in place o Making sure all sign holders are clean o Making sure that all food is presentable o Making sure the display plates are in place and look appetizing ? Closing the Cafeteria o Follow Closing Checklist o Making sure that all signs are down and placed into folder o Making sure all sign holders are clean o Making sure that all display plates are taken up o Making sure that all trash has been pulled o Making sure that the Cafeteria/Atrium is ready to open in the morning ? Sanitation o Maintains sanitation standards by department ? Cash Handling o Ability to cash out cashiers and monitor overages and shortages o Ability to monitor the safe and balance the change fund o Ability to conduct Cash Audits ? Other Duties o Schedule Staff o Ability to Flex Up or Down according to census and business in the cafeteria o Ability to work all Hourly Staff Positions o Consistently holds Pre-Service Line Meetings daily o Attends Supervisor/Manager leadership classes or meetings to improve skills o Ability to interview and screen applicants for job positions |
Qualifications

| High School Diploma or equivalent, Required |
| EXPERIENCE: |
| 2 years Food Service Supervisory experience, Preferred |
| LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING: |
| REQUIRED PREFERRED ServeSafe certification preferred. |
