Role: Property and Grounds Assistant 
Reports to: Communities Leader 
Compensation: TBD; Based on experience 
Location: Beaver Dam

Summary: The Property and Grounds Assistant for Focus Property Management will be responsible for the look, smell, and feel of assigned properties. Each property receives a “score” ranking it based on safety and security, cleanliness of interior and exterior, basic maintenance and repairs, and supporting resident behaviors. Responsibilities will include walking each property every week, creating a plan to improve the property while on grounds (cleaning, maintenance and repair, painting, basic electrical/lighting, trash clean up, meeting with residents). This position also assists with improvements to common areas. Experience with cleaning, painting and electrical lighting are preferred but not required. No experience needed! We offer full training and development!

What you are great at: (responsibilities) 
  • Manage and organize each property (look, smell, and feel)
  • Strategize a plan each week to execute identified tasks with leader prior to arriving at property
  • Build relationships with residents face-to-face and through email/text communication
  • Ensure building is safe/secure by checking doors/locks
  • Promote/support clean common areas and laundry rooms
  • Manage cleanliness around trash areas
  • Ability to understand and inform residents about our property standards

  • Motivated when working individually. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use critical thinking, problem solving and good judgment
  • Skilled at effectively managing time and multiple responsibilities
  • Must be 18 years of age and have a reliable vehicle
