The treasury specialist role involves direct responsibility for maintaining monthly bank reconciliations and accurate cash balances for all subsidiaries/HQ of the company in the General Ledger. They will manage and clear all the cash-related accounts and ledgers balances.

Location: Torrance, CA

Responsibilities

• Monthly Bank Reconciliations (for ALL branches, divisions, and subsidiaries)
• Review cash entries daily to identify any unrecorded transactions.
• Reconcile bank activity to general ledger monthly to meet close deadlines as outlined in the monthly close calendar.
• Assist with maintaining unclaimed property database, which includes determining vendors with outstanding stale dated checks, sending proper notifications to these vendors, and subsequently filing with the respective state(s), if needed
• Assist with external audit(s) through record retrieval and process demonstration for auditors.
• AP Vendor setup, verification, and maintenance
• Preparing financial forecasts such as revenue, expenses, and loan estimations
• Process the payments of ACH, Checks and wire transfers to heavy volume of vendors in timely manner.
• Responsible for daily monitoring including but not limited to, maintaining, and verifying ACH transactions, RDC limits, and Funds Transfer increases.
• Other finance responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related discipline; in the absence of a degree, directly related job experience serving in a treasury role, where several years and proven knowledge may offset the degree requirement.
• A minimum of one year's previous accounting (clerical) experience required.
• ERP experience preferred.
• Strong financial acumen and knowledge of financial processes
• Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and planning skills are required.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work under pressure and show evidence of creative thinking as well as the ability to handle complex problems in a timely manner.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Power point.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. (Korean/English Bilingual preferred)

The base salary range for this role is between $24.04 - $26.45 hourly, and your base salary will depend on your experiences, qualifications, and skills.
