FMI Capital Advisors, a registered broker/dealer, is a leading investment banking firm dedicated to serving companies working within the built environment. Our investment banking team has guided businesses in engineering and construction, building products and materials, power and energy, infrastructure, and other related sectors through more than 750 transactions. Our Analysts support multiple deal teams immediately upon joining the firm and play an important role on each engagement. Analysts at FMI Capital Advisors gain extensive M&A exposure through daily involvement in every aspect of deal execution.

We are currently looking for an Analyst to be part of a deal team focused exclusively on the energy solutions and cleantech sector. This is a full-time opportunity based in our Cherry Creek office in Denver, Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Conducting industry, market, and company-specific research
• Performing financial analysis and financial modeling
• Preparing transaction marketing materials, including pitch books, teasers, confidential information memorandums, and management presentations
• Conducting preliminary valuation work
• Researching investment opportunities in various construction industry niches
• Providing support to members of the investment banking group and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field required
• Previous investment banking experience desired
• Quantitative and analytical skills, including the ability to create and analyze pro forma financial statement models
• Strong proficiency in MS Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
• The ability to perform in an entrepreneurial environment, both individually and as a team player
• Previous DealCloud experience is a plus

Compensation Information

Salary $75,000- $85,000 based on experience
