Flyby Robotics is Hiring a Software Engineer, C++ Near Los Angeles, CA

About Flyby:

Flyby Robotics is building ML-capable drones to power America’s critical industries. At Flyby, we believe the drones of the future won’t just be flying cameras — they’ll be flying supercomputers. Our mission is to design and manufacture the ultimate UAVs, capable of supporting advanced sensor payloads and on-edge machine learning applications.

You’ll be working alongside a team of Yale graduates, PhDs, and ex-JPL engineers. We’re backed by category-defining investors in American hard tech, including MaC Ventures, Ryan Hoover (Product Hunt Founder), Naval Ravikant (Angelist Founder), and others.

The Role:

The combination of immense GPU power and heavy aerial lift creates a powerful machine. Great machines are not built in a vacuum. Such immense hardware capabilities need to be paired with robust applications and integrations. We are looking for software engineers with a background in solving challenges in networking, systems integration, and robotic controls.
