A local engineering company with a facility near Wixom, Michigan is currently seeking a Controls Sales Engineer for long-term, Direct Hire opportunities with their growing team. These are exciting opportunities for Controls Sales Engineers that are looking for a company that offers excellent career growth, development, and competitive salaries and commissions.

Controls Sales Engineers will be working full-time, with a base salary anticipated to be between $70,000-$90,000/year based on each candidate's experience, as well as generous commissions bringing the gross income above $110,000 for successful Sales Engineers. All well-qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate.

This role will have some office presence for weekly meetings and coordination, but flexibility to work remote when not visiting customers/generating business.

Qualified Controls Sales Engineers will possess most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

· 3 years of recent/relevant experience in sales including cold calling/working directly with customers.

· Controls/electrical knowledge or experience in controls programming is strongly desired. Must have a knowledge of controls components- Allen Bradley, Siemens, control panels, hardware, or closely related.

· Experience with sales in automation, chemical, robotics, or closely related is strongly preferred.

· A BS in Engineering is a strong advantage, similar degrees or equivalent relevant experience in lieu welcome.

· Must be able to work in the United States (no H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered).

· Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, etc.
