Position Overview:
Fluffies Hot Chicken, located in Hackensack, NJ, is currently hiring Cashiers to provide exceptional service to our customers. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, customer-focused, and available to work mornings and weekends. High school students need not apply. Join our team and be a part of an exciting culinary experience!
Responsibilities:
1. Welcome and greet customers with enthusiasm as they enter the restaurant.
2. Accurately and efficiently process customer orders using our POS system.
3. Handle cash and card transactions, ensuring accuracy and security at all times.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station and surrounding areas.
5. Assist in packaging and bagging orders for takeout and delivery customers.
6. Provide information about menu items, promotions, and specials to customers as needed.
7. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
8. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
9. Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards to uphold a clean and safe environment.
10. Perform opening and closing duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred.
2. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
5. Must be available to work mornings and weekends.
6. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
7. Legally eligible to work in the United States.
