FLS Transportation is seeking a Security Analyst to identify, analyze, provide recommendations and track/report on progress toward resolutions of security vulnerabilities and risk related issues associated with our systems and integrations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:

• Proactively identify and communicate current and emerging risks;
• Responsible for vulnerability scanning and remediation program;
• Routinely create reports, summaries, presentations, and process documents to display results;
• Strong focus on process automation and implementing security best-practices;
• Participate in planning and reviewing architectural designs to validate the approach for security, privacy, and other compliance and risk-related items. • Coordinate third-party security risk assessments and new vendor on-boarding assessments;
• Maintain the documentation of policies and procedures, and ensure documentation is adhered to;
• Assist with IT risk management and collection of data for audit/regulatory reviews;
• Responsible for implementing, auditing, and tracking system security measures needed to safeguard against unauthorized damage, modification, or disclosure of information;
• Ability to travel up to 5% of time.

Qualifications/ & Experience

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent certification or experience;
• 3 years of experience in a Security Engineer or cybersecurity role;
• 3 years of experience with SaaS platforms and IT infrastructure;
• 1 years of experience with performing security assessments, communicating results to senior leaders, and ensuring risk remediation strategies are implemented;
• Windows Server Administrator including Azure, Active Directory, Group Policy, Power Shell, and Exchange is plus;
• Experience with IT security/incident management processes and investigation is strongly desired;
• Understanding of TCP/IP and networking fundamentals;
• Ability to collaborate effectively on operations issues with internal business stakeholders, outside partners, and technology teams;
• Robust troubleshooting skills with the ability to think critically and solve problems;
• Ability to communicate complex situations clearly;
• Creative, critical thinker who can take initiative and make suggestions;
• Good understanding of compliance/security frameworks: NIST, SOC2, CIS, PCI DSS, and SOX;
• Experience using common security tools (SIEM, Vulnerability Scanners, IDS/IPS, MDR) • Security Governance Certifications preferred (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CGEIT, CRISC);
• Experience with Remote Teams.
