Flowmark/HighTech is Hiring an Outside Sales Near Williston, ND

Summary:

Primarily responsible for managing direct customers and distribution channel within an assigned territory to achieve sales and revenue goals. Designs and recommends sales programs and sets short- and long-term sales strategies. Evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase sales volume. Recommends product enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. Conduct training and educational programs with customers, distributors, and representatives. Sales calls with customers and manufacturing reps along with cold calls. Troubleshoots customer issues along with recommendations for solutions. Daily call reports explaining in detail the contacts made that day using available reporting program.

Location: Billings, MT

Territory: Montana

Responsibilities:

  • Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Must be self-driven and able to work without direct management
  • Performs a variety of complex tasks.
  • Conduct training and educational programs with customers, distributors, and representatives.
  • Sales calls with distributors and manufacturing reps along with cold calls.
  • Troubleshoots customer issues along with recommendations for solutions.
  • Daily call reports explaining in detail the contacts made that day using available reporting program.
  • Leads sales support team with day-to-day activities & process improvements.
  • Assists operations towards achieving sales revenue goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering would be preferred.

Qualifications:

  • At least three to five years previous outside industrial sales experience.
  • Ability to travel 25-50% of the time
  • Working background or knowledge in engineering concepts and methodologies. Ability to read & interpret design drawings.
  • Good communication and closing skills are vital.
  • Must reside in the territory in which they represent.
  • Computer knowledge i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Must be highly creative and a problem solver and able to handle numerous projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures. Ability to communicate to groups of people, managers, vendors, customers, co-workers and the general public.

Work Environment:

  • Able to work at physical office, in field. Occasional exposure to customer manufacturing facilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
