Our clinic is looking for a caring mental health therapist dedicated to providing the best possible therapeutic service to our patients. You'll be in charge of doing diagnostic evaluations, developing tailored treatment plans with goals and objectives, offering crisis intervention when needed, and following up with patients to ensure they're getting the best care possible. The ideal applicant will have 1-3 years of clinical experience treating mental health patients and a current LMHC license (licensed mental health counselor). $75,000 - $93,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

• Develop specific therapy plans with goals and objectives for individual patients
• Monitor each patient situation on a frequent basis and offer the appropriate follow-up care
• Use patient medical information, interviews, observation, and testing as well as collaboration with other staff members to determine a patient’s mental health status
• Recommend community services or specialists for patients and family members in need
• Aid with crisis intervention for patients when they are in a state of distress

• Facilitate consultation calls, collect insurance information, and schedule the client for their appointments
• Complete progress notes after each session including treatment plans
• Provide in-person and virtual individual services to your clients; flexibility in making your own schedule. We offer office space as many days as you need but encourage only 1-3 days in person for a balance
• Coordinate with outpatient psychiatry as needed for your patients
• Complete a treatment plan within 24 hours to outline the client's goals, objectives, and the therapist's interventions

Qualifications:

• Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and great communication and interpersonal skills
• CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications are required
• Current and unrestricted state license as an LMHC (licensed mental health counselor) or equivalent
• Must have 1-3 years of mental health experience in a clinical setting
• High school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or equivalent; masters degree preferred

• This position requires a master's degree and a license to practice therapy in the state of Arizona as outlined by the AZBBHE and the license must be in good standing to practice
• Additional training in EMDR, Somatic, or Brainspotting is a bonus!
• 1-3 years of mental health experience in a clinical setting
