The Adult Therapist for the Smooth Way Home Program works under regular direction of supervisor to provide eligibility determination and direct counseling therapeutic intervention services to adults to improve or maintain the client's behavioral health, emotional, and/or adaptive functioning within various social environments, according to the agency mission and philosophy and department goals. Must hold licensed eligible degree according Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as a Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Independent Social Worker, or hold a bachelor’s degree in behavioral health related field and have two (2) years behavioral health work.
