Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling and support to youth in a behavioral health setting
- Implement crisis management strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of youth
- Utilize experience working with children to develop rapport and trust
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and collect data to inform treatment plans
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions
- Incorporate motivational interviewing techniques to promote positive change
- Offer Christian counseling services for those interested
- Address gender issues and provide counseling specific to these concerns
- Provide specialized care for individuals experiencing PTSD

Skills:
- Strong background in behavioral health and counseling techniques
- Proficient in crisis management strategies
- Experience working with children and adolescents
- Knowledge of motivational interviewing principles and techniques
- Ability to collect and analyze data for diagnostic evaluation purposes
- Proficient in various forms of psychotherapy
- Understanding of gender issues and ability to provide appropriate counseling support
- Expertise in providing care for individuals experiencing PTSD

Education:

• Masters Degree in Human Services or related field from a nationally accredited college or university
• Active Florida LCSW, LMHC or LMFT is required
