Florida Sign Group is a full-service, multi-site signage provider. This in-office role will be located in our Delray Beach, Florida office.

FSG custom designs, builds and installs signage, wayfinding and graphics for building owners, general contractors and other signage companies around the country.

FSG is in a period of rapid growth, expanding its operations, installing new technologies and implementing continuous improvement.

A Project Manager, or PM, is responsible for leading a team of professionals in completing projects by a set deadline to uphold business initiatives. Their duties include dividing up their budget for different project aspects and advocating for additional funding when necessary, hiring freelance professionals or selecting project team members from existing departments and setting or adjusting project schedules to adhere to deadlines.

Qualifications

Sign industry experience and/or branding experience is strongly preferred

Strong organizational, planning, problem solving and negotiation skills with the ability to resolve concerns in a positive way

Sound business acumen and understanding of what drives company profits,

5-7 years specific experience in field project management, installation, and industry manufacturing. We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to manage multiple, concurrent, fast paced projects from award through design, permitting, fabrication and installation of custom signage products. This is a highly visible position requiring extensive interaction and coordination with customers, subcontractors, & vendors.

Responsibilities

• Proactive, hands-on involvement during all stages of the project life cycle
• Developing partnerships with functional leaders, team members, clients and subcontractors to ensure project and business objectives are met
• Solid project management skills for technical, schedule, cost, and risk management
• Managing scope, schedule, budget and resources for on time and on budget project completion
• Track the process of all projects and ensure all notes, PO’s, drawings and photos are uploaded into system
• Establishing and maintaining effective client relations to achieve active cooperation and additional work opportunities
• Resolving issues and solving problems that arise throughout the duration of the project to mitigate risk
• Providing full transparency and escalating issues when project milestones may be in jeopardy
• Creating and processing project specific purchase orders
• Managing flow-down of contractual requirements and construction schedules
• Performing site walks
• Identifying and developing solutions for process improvement

Requirements

• 5-7 years of demonstrated project management experience
• Commercial construction or public works background is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications like Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Able to speak and write in English proficiently and provide wonderful & clear communicate
