Florida Oral and Facial Surgical Associates is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Daytona Beach, FL

```Duties```
- Seat patients in treatment rooms
- Take CT scans for exams, surgery and post-operative evaluation
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

- Evaluate post-operative patients

```Skills```
- Proficient in taking dental radiographs (panorex, CTs)
- Knowledge of dental systems and procedures
- Ability to accurately record vital signs and post-op notes
- Strong patient assessment skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation
- Experience in dental assisting
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Knowledge of infection control protocols in a dental setting

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the surgeons and providing quality care to patients. Your duties will include seating patients in treatment rooms, taking x-rays (panoramic X-rays, CT scans), recording patient information, and maintaining equipment. Strong skills in x-ray techniques, patient assessment, and infection control are essential for this role. Additionally, familiarity with oral surgery, medical terminology, and electronic health record systems will contribute to your success as a Dental Assistant. If you are detail-oriented, compassionate, and have a passion for oral health, we encourage you to apply for this position.
