Florida Blue (Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida) is Hiring a Business Specialist-Commercial Quality Care Near Jacksonville, FL

What is your impact?
Specialist will perform overall project work that includes monitoring/reporting of the initiatives and outcomes, communicating, planning, designing, implementing, and working with analytics on ROI/impact analysis for Commercial Quality Initiatives that support the Company's Scorecard.
This role will be accountable for the ongoing oversight and monitoring of the progress of Commercial HEDIS and CAHPS initiatives/projects in the Commercial Quality Initiatives department.
What are your key responsibilities?
  • Must understand the marketing needs as they relate to the Commercial Quality Initiatives.
  • Must manage care communications that closes care gaps
  • Manage Quality Initiative projects that have a limited timeframe and are typically confined to a department or division. Some projects may have external integration requirements.
  • Plan project timelines and milestones, track progress, monitor and communicate project status and identify and resolve project-related issues and/or risks.
  • Provide project status and raising issues regarding resources, timing, and work plan modifications to department Leadership.
  • Monitors and ensures that project is on track and within budget, implementing Corrective Action plan if needed to move project forward.
  • Coordinates activities across the project team to assure effective design, development, and implementation.
  • Develop and build internal partnerships to improve communication, coordination, collaboration, and effective working relationships within own department and other areas within Florida Blue.
  • Develop member and provider communications related to select HEDIS measures.
  • Ensure high level of quality and maintenance of concept.
  • Collaborates with Corporate Communications, Legal and Compliance for standardization of brand.
  • Leads design concepts
  • Provide copywriting and editing for materials to ensure high level of quality to meet overall strategic plan.
  • Monitors HEDIS initiatives.
What is required?
  • 4 years related work experience. Experience Details: leads design concepts.
  • Related bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience
  • Experience executing on multi-audience strategic communications plans and evaluating results
  • Experience in communications and knowledgeable about emerging trends and industry practices, particularly digital and social communications best practices.
  • Knowledge in working with marketing tools and apps – such as event apps, content management systems, email automation software.
  • Demonstrated skills to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
What is preferred?
  • Minimum intermediate-level expertise with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of/familiarity with healthcare market is strongly favored
General Physical Demands:
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

Annualized Salary Range: $62,500 - $101,500
Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $62,500 - $78,100

Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
