We are now hiring an onsite Staff Accountant to join our growing team and support functions in Accounts Payable, Payroll, Journal Entries and Financial Analysis.

What you'll do

Financial Analysis

• Analyze validity of income, expenses and month end statements

Journal Entries and Balance Sheet Accounts

• Perform journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for specific accounts

Accounts Payable

• Collect and process vendor invoices following internal control procedures
• Research discrepancies and solve problems that relate to invoicing and vendor accounts.

Payroll

• Compile payroll data
• Perform calculations and adjustments as needed
• Update and maintain employee database
• Convert payroll summary for Financial Reporting

Other Department Duties

• Learn and adhere to policies and procedures for assigned departments
• Recommend process improvement
• Cross train and assist in other accounting functions
• Opportunities to Lead Projects and Process Improvements

SOX Compliance

• • Ensure compliance with internal policy and SOX
  • Test and evaluate internal controls

What you'll need to be successful

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in Accounting field
• SAP and/or UKG experience preferred
• Familiarity with accounting software and programs
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
• Highly detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to drive and meet recurring deadlines
• Interest in numbers, math, business and production processes
