FloraCraft Corporation is Hiring a General Labor Near Ludington, MI
- Operates various machines by managing settings and conducting tests to ensure a successful operation in the production process;
- Inspects, monitors and troubleshoots machines, checking for any problems in order to prevent breakdown in the course of work; calls for maintenance when needed;
- Enters correct job specification sizes and shapes for optimal operation and results;
- Monitors all activities going on at the work site, recording them for accuracy, clarification and verification, and reports to the supervisor;
- Timely places orders for additional materials, so as to not shut down production;
- Inspects all finished goods, ensuring consistent production quality and standards;
- Counts product items; labels per guidelines; places items in packages and/or boxes; seals package and/or box and places on pallet.
- Uses scanner to scan product and uses computer to process orders.
- Rotates jobs and machines on a regular basis.
- Performs other job responsibilities as required.
- Ability to count;
- Ability to operate pallet jack, as needed;
- Ability to operate scanner and computer;
- Ability to cross-train in other areas, as needed; and
- Ability to work safely within MIOSHA/OSHA guidelines.
