The compliance coordinator helps oversee and coordinate all compliance activities of the company. Specifically, to ensure adherence to laws and contract specific requirements that regulate and govern the construction industry. The compliance coordinator provides technical and administrative assistance to management by researching and analyzing laws, regulations & contracts; conducting risk assessments; facilitating company and subcontractor reporting; training both employees and third party subcontractors; conducting compliance audits and recommending and enforcing corrective action, as needed.
Essential functions:
·Design, develop, implement, and analyze compliance programs for the company.
·Revise compliance programs as necessary to meet the changing needs of the company.
·Train employees and subcontractors on compliance guidelines, requirements, and standards.
·Compile and analyze both internal and external information to prepare compliance audit data and conduct internal audits.
·Collect and coordinate internal compliance data with other departments to support said departments.
·Implement policies, procedures, and systems to provide administrative support to the operational and accounting departments.
·Study both existing and new legislation, enforce adherence to policies and advise management on necessary actions to ensure company compliance with local, state, and federal legal requirements.
·Stay current on industry standards by continuing education, reading publications, talking with peers, and joining relevant professional groups.

·This position is on-site in Timonium MD
·Workdays are Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. Additional hours may be required to achieve business objectives.
Physical Demands:
·Operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
Required qualifications:
·Successful completion of a Paralegal Program or an associate degree in business administration, Accounting or Law is preferred.
·3-5 years of experience in the compliance field is required.
Statutory, Regulatory and Contractual OCIP and CCIP Compliance experience
Prevailing Wage and Davis -Bacon regulatory compliance experience
Experience with subcontractor insurance requirements
Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
Preferred qualifications: Associate Degree in a related field; supervisory experience.
