In this role, you will grow existing accounts and develop new business relationships that result in increased sales of our product lines. You will be responsible to meet with customers in the store and on the jobsite, assessing their needs for new floor-covering and providing solutions to satisfy those needs from the widest selection of brand carpet and flooring products.

Pay: Based on experience.

Hours of Operation: 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday, 9:00am-3:00pm Saturday.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop relationships with current customers and potential customers
• Understand our products, our market competition and how to position products to overcome these factors
• Quote prices, discuss credit terms and prepare sales contracts for customer orders
• Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of company’s delivery schedules.
• Investigate and resolve customer claims/problems with deliveries, returns and credits
• Build and develop relationships with contractors, builders, property managers and developers by calling on existing and prospective customers.
• Collaborate with other inside sales staff to ensure exceptional service is provided to clientele.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Flooring experience is REQUIRED.
• Management experience is REQUIRED.
• MUST be results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Estimating and blueprint reading.
• Proficient in computer skills (Desktop Quickbooks, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, various estimating software).
• HIGHLY driven to succeed.
• Ability to overcome objections and gain the customer's trust.
• EXCELLENT written & oral communication, organizational skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
