Our client is a reputable Calibration specialist seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments of calibration equipment, tools, and components, and verify the accuracy of quantities and items against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Inspect received items for damages, defects, or discrepancies, and document any issues for further action.
- Properly label and store incoming products in designated storage areas to ensure organization and easy retrieval.
- Prepare outgoing shipments of calibrated equipment and products to clients, including packaging, labeling, and completing necessary shipping documentation.
- Coordinate with carriers and shipping companies to schedule pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate shipping.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, including tracking information, serial numbers, and condition reports.
- Collaborate with the calibration team to prioritize shipments based on service deadlines and client requirements.
- Communicate with internal departments to facilitate the efficient movement of products within the facility.
- Assist in inventory management, including conducting regular stock checks and participating in periodic audits.
- Ensure compliance with shipping, receiving, and safety procedures, as well as industry regulations and standards.
- Assist in resolving shipping and receiving discrepancies or issues, coordinating with relevant teams to find timely solutions.
- Keep work areas clean and organized to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications or coursework are a plus.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, inventory management, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with calibration equipment, tools, and processes is advantageous but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members, carriers, and clients.
- Physical ability to lift and move moderately heavy packages and equipment.
- Problem-solving aptitude and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Positive attitude, team player mentality, and a commitment to quality service.
