SPECIAL EDUCATION PARAPROFESSIONALS
CURRENT ASSIGNMENT WILL BE:
Willow Creek Elementary
Middle School
High School
FULL-TIME
The primary function of a Special Education Paraprofessional is to support and assist the special education/general education classroom teacher in implementing IEPs for an individual student or group of students. The support provided to the student is directed by the student’s individual plan. The paraprofessional is responsible for reviewing and assisting the student(s) to complete tasks as assigned by the classroom teacher.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience with school age students in a structured setting paid or volunteer preferred
- Experience with or knowledge of educational, behavioral, social, and affective needs of emotionally disturbed learners preferred
- Must pass all background checks
Pay Rate: $13.17 - $14.60 based on education
