FLEETCOR is Hiring a People Operations Coordinator Near St. Charles, IL

What We Need FLEETCOR is currently looking to hire a People Operations Coordinator within our ALE Solutions division. This position falls under our Lodging line of business and is located in St. Charles, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Director of Human Resources in all HR activities for the company. You will report directly to the Director of HR. Role Responsibilities The responsibilities of the role will include: Coordinating human resource activities including but not limited to employment, training, compliance, HRIS and benefits Assigning and ensuring completion of SOC documents Generating, monitoring and removing employee security badges Reviewing Client Services’ badge log Conducting Insurance enrollment and 401(k) meetings Reviewing the discrepancy files from weekly carrier connections Updating new hires and terms in the Fidelity portal Auditing benefit invoices Reviewing monthly ACA reports Generating FMLA and ADA paperwork, tracking deadlines and providing reminders Informing IT and client services about network set-ups Collating new hire and temporary welcome kits Maintaining all new hire documentation in Kronos; making sure resumes, references, back grounds and offer letters are uploaded before they start Proactively reminding employees and managers about outstanding to-do items Handling all business card orders and 90-day bags Generating and e-mailing birthday, new hire and anniversary announcements Updating the ALE org chart Scheduling employees and managers for ALE U and ALE Masters Coordinating employee cross-training calendar Grading ALE U exams Being responsible for references and background checks E-mailing recruiting templates Conducting temporary staff orientation Submitting temporary timesheets to agencies Assisting with the Golf.Give.Gala Assisting with ALE Internship Program Assisting with ALE on-site events Ordering department Lunches Managing department expense reports and credit cards Ordering flowers and gifts on behalf of ALE Performing other duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s Degree required 1-3 years of Human Resources experience preferred PHR/SHRM CP Certification a plus Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook ACT program experience a plus Excellent verbal & written communication skills, be very organized, have strong problem-solving skills, ability to multi task, and be a team player Attention to detail and accuracy are critical skills for this position Exhibits strong business acumen, exceptional leadership skills, and sound judgement Ability to mentor coworkers Ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships among team members in the course of work Willingness to work additional hours in order to meet tight deadlines Ability to assist coworkers with escalated tasks Benefits & Perks Medical, Dental & Vision benefits available the 1st month after hire Automatic enrollment into our 401k plan (subject to eligibility requirements) Virtual fitness classes offered company-wide Robust PTO offerings including: major holidays, vacation, sick, personal, & volunteer time Employee discounts with major providers (i.e. wireless, gym, car rental, etc.) Philanthropic support with both local and national organizations Fun culture with company-wide contests and prizes Our Company & Purpose FLEETCOR is a global leader in business payments, laser focused on developing smarter ways for businesses to pay their expenses.
