At FLEET Early Learning Station, we offer a traditional early childhood environment that focuses on kindergarten readiness in a loving, educational, and fast-paced atmosphere. We are seeking part-time Substitute Teachers to add to our amazing early education team! Ideal candidates will excel in customer service, love working with children, and enjoy working in a close team environment. Hourly wage is determined based on experience in the early childhood education field, certifications, and education.

Job Description (not limited to):

• Teach in place of a teacher that is absent for a half or full day. Three to ten hour shifts based on availability.

• Possess a schedule that varies week to week ranging from 0-5 days depending on a schedule & availability that fits both parties.

• Develop and maintain a productive rapport with children and families with students ranging from infants to pre-kindergarten.

• Following a set plan, implement curriculum in a creative fashion driven by positive reinforcement and centered around the Kansas Early Standards.

• Collaborate with other staff to ensure that the school fosters an environment that is inviting and nurturing for every child.

• Ensure communication with management is provided as needed.

• Manage daily schedules of each learner with the highest quality of care.

• Partner with families and provide communication regarding each child's daily progress.

• Adhere to the KDHE licensing regulations as well as company policies.

• Maintain annual Kansas Trainings as required by KDHE.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 35 per week
