Position: Editorial Project Manager
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic project manager to join our team at Flatpage. This part-time position involves leading client interaction and onboarding, overseeing a team of talented editors, and ensuring seamless project management through productivity platforms. The ideal candidate should be based in the NYC area, possess excellent project management and customer service skills, and have extensive knowledge of the editing and publishing process. We are seeking an ambitious self-starter who’s excited to grow with our company.
This is a part-time position, where you'll be expected to work up to 20 hours per week, with the potential to develop into a full-time position. Although this role is primarily remote, the successful candidate will be based in the NYC area and required to attend occasional in-person meetings and work hours in NYC in the future. This role requires flexible availability and is not suitable to candidates who already have full-time employment.

Hours and Compensation:
This position requires between 10 to 20 hours per week, depending on project volume, with opportunity for future growth. Hours can vary and the candidate must be extremely flexible, including night and weekend work, and therefore is not suited to candidates who have limited scheduling availability. Although this position is remote from the NYC area, the person in this position will be required to attend virtual calls with our chief editor. Occasional in-person meetings/hours in NYC will be possible in the future. The starting rate of compensation is $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience, with an initial 3 month probationary period.
