Communication Expert: Effectively convey information in one-on-one interactions, telephone conversations, and electronic communication.
Mathematical Prowess: Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in various forms.
Problem-Solving Guru:Skillfully handle minor problems in standardized situations.
Responsibilities:
Comprehensive Client Support: Be the face of Flatbush Veterinary Clinic by greeting clients and patients warmly and professionally.
Efficient Registration: Proficiently register and check-in new and returning clients and patients, ensuring a seamless process.
Appointment Management: Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments by phone or electronic communication using Clinic HQ ensuring a well-organized flow. Confirm online appointments for surgery and wellness visits.
Financial Wizardry:Handle all financial transactions with finesse, reconciling client files, auditing invoices, and offering alternative payment options like Scratch Pay, Vetbilling and Care Credit payment plans.
Communication Maestro: Ensure smooth inhouse communication from shift to shift and co-worker to co-worker.
Medication Assistance: Provide efficient assistance to clients getting medications filled. Assist the wellness and surgery team(s) in prioritizing patients health and well-being.
Record Management: Safeguard the confidentiality, security, and physical safety of patient medical records, demonstrating expertise in collecting, scanning, processing, maintaining, storing, timely retrieval, and distribution.
Safety Ambassador: Maintain the client services area and clinic reception area in accordance with safety and infection control guidelines.
Professional Adaptability: Courteously accept other job duties as assigned, showcasing adaptability and a commitment to teamwork. We accept clients from all walks of life and they should be treated with fairness and respect at all times.
Benefits:
Work-Life Balance: Monday to Thursday, 8 am to 6 pm with weekends off
Lunch Break: 1-hour paid lunch break
