Join Our Passionate Veterinary Team as a Receptionist!
Are you an animal lover with a warm heart and a friendly smile? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you at The Neighborhood Vet. We are expanding to a brand new location in a few months and would love an additional team member at the front!
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their furry companions with a welcoming demeanor (if you don't know fear free approaches, we will teach you!)
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls, text communications, and address client inquiries with patience and professionalism
- Assist in maintaining accurate patient records and administrative tasks
- Collaborate with our dedicated team to ensure seamless patient care
Qualifications:
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in neurodivergent environment
- Ability to reference hospital protocol to maintain hospital mission & vision
- Prior experience in customer service or administrative roles preferred (veterinary office experience is prioritized)
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
