The Neighborhood Vet is Hiring a Veterinary Client Service Representative Near Brooklyn, NY

Join Our Passionate Veterinary Team as a Receptionist!

Are you an animal lover with a warm heart and a friendly smile? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you at The Neighborhood Vet. We are expanding to a brand new location in a few months and would love an additional team member at the front!

Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and their furry companions with a welcoming demeanor (if you don't know fear free approaches, we will teach you!)
  • Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
  • Answer phone calls, text communications, and address client inquiries with patience and professionalism
  • Assist in maintaining accurate patient records and administrative tasks
  • Collaborate with our dedicated team to ensure seamless patient care

Qualifications:

  • A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in neurodivergent environment
  • Ability to reference hospital protocol to maintain hospital mission & vision
  • Prior experience in customer service or administrative roles preferred (veterinary office experience is prioritized)
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
