We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Operations Intern to join our team at FLANDERS. This internship opportunity offers hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry and the chance to contribute to meaningful projects that drive operational excellence within our facility. As an Operations Intern, you will work closely with our experienced team members to support various aspects of the manufacturing process and gain valuable insights into the operations of a dynamic manufacturing facility.

This is an 8-week on-site internship opportunity at our Evansville, IN facility.

Project Scope: Create a barcoding scanner tool and system that integrates with FLANDERS ERP system, allowing a variety of materials, labor hours, etc to be properly coded and stored within the ERP system.

• Project Support: Collaborate with team members in the planning, execution, and completion of your assigned project.
• Data Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze data related to your project and present this data to support your decision making process throughout the project.
• Process Improvement: Contribute ideas and solutions to streamline the processes associated with your assigned project, reducing waste and enhancing overall productivity.
• Documentation: Create standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions to support the implementation and sustainability of your project.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, quality, and supply chain to coordinate project activities and achieve project objectives.
• Learning and Development: Actively engage in learning opportunities to gain a deeper understanding of manufacturing processes, technologies, and industry best practices.
