FLAG Solutions is Hiring a Quality Technician Near Pico Rivera, CA

Job Description: We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ensuring the quality and safety of our food products. Flexibility to work longer hours when needed is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine quality checks and inspections on bread and dough products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Monitor production processes, including temperature control, ingredient measurements, and packaging.
  • Conduct product sampling and testing to verify taste, texture, and overall quality.
  • Identify and address any deviations from quality standards and work with the production team to resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality assessments and inspection results.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
  • Participate in quality audits and collaborate with the quality team to drive continuous improvement.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Communicate any quality-related concerns to supervisors and managers.
  • Flexibility to work longer hours as required to meet production demands.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a food production environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and address quality issues.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work 2nd shift and overtime as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
