Job Description: We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ensuring the quality and safety of our food products. Flexibility to work longer hours when needed is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine quality checks and inspections on bread and dough products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Monitor production processes, including temperature control, ingredient measurements, and packaging.
- Conduct product sampling and testing to verify taste, texture, and overall quality.
- Identify and address any deviations from quality standards and work with the production team to resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records of quality assessments and inspection results.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
- Participate in quality audits and collaborate with the quality team to drive continuous improvement.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Communicate any quality-related concerns to supervisors and managers.
- Flexibility to work longer hours as required to meet production demands.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a food production environment preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and address quality issues.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work 2nd shift and overtime as needed.
