Job Purpose: As an Assembler you will play a crucial role in the production process by assembling various furniture and equipment products according to established specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diversified and intricate assembly operations on a variety of furniture and equipment products.
- Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly.
- Place parts in specified relationship to each other and secure them using hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment.
- Check assembled products for quality and completeness, ensuring adherence to established standards and specifications.
- Make adjustments and modifications to assembled products as needed to meet quality standards and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and address any issues or concerns that arise during the assembly process.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Maintain good housekeeping in work area to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in assembly or manufacturing preferred.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with others.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods of time.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and dust.
- Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.00 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
