The Fix-It Group, a national home services company, is seeking a Fleet and Safety Manager to join our team. The Fleet and Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our vehicle fleet operations, ensuring the safety of our drivers and vehicles, managing our insurance policies and risk management programs, and implementing effective risk management strategies. Compensation & Benefits

• $75,000 – 90,000 annual salary

Responsibilities

Vehicle Fleet Management

• Utilize Mike Albert Fleet Solutions to manage the company's fleet of vehicles in coordination with our Operations Team, including scheduling regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to vehicle operation, licensing, and registration.

Safety Program Administration

• Establish and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure the well-being of drivers, passengers, and other road users.
• Conduct safety training sessions for drivers on defensive driving techniques, accident prevention, and emergency procedures.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Insurance and Risk Management

• Manage all aspects of our property and casualty insurance programs with support from our insurance brokers including policy renewals, administration and claims management.
• Work closely with our insurance carriers and brokers to optimize coverage and minimize costs while ensuring compliance with company standards. Identify potential risks associated with our operations and partner with the People Operations team to develop trainings to mitigate risk.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures to minimize exposure to liability and financial loss.
• Monitor key performance indicators related to safety and risk management and take proactive measures to address any issues.

Reporting and Analysis

• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Excel or other software tools to track fleet performance, safety metrics, and insurance claims.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, and make recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in fleet and risk management.
• Strong knowledge of fleet operations, safety regulations, and insurance requirements.
• Proficiency in data organization and analysis using Microsoft Excel.
• Project management experience is a plus, but not required.
