The successful candidate will be responsible for parts receiving and returns, and maintaining a well-organized parts room, enabling the efficient flow of vehicles through all stages of repair.

THE ROLE:

The Parts Coordinator is a central role in the repair process and responsible for ordering, dispatching and organizing the parts department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participating actively in daily production meetings

• Ordering replacements parts

• Receiving and mirror matching parts to ensure accuracy in support of the repair plan

• Enter parts and sublet invoices in software, and confirm profit margins

• Coordinate with technicians and shop staff for each vehicles progress from arrival to delivery

• Maintaining and organizing parts carts, staging areas and parts area

• Delivering parts to technicians and parts carts as required

• Ensuring returns are promptly issued from vendors

• Maintain professional and positive vendor relationships

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of related experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Auto industry experience preferred

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field preferred

• A combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered

• Solid organizational skills

• Excellent computer skills and ability to adapt to multiple software platforms

• Strong verbal, written and listening skills in English

• Spanish language is a bonus

• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to pass a motor vehicle background check

• Ability to pass a criminal background check

• Ability to work 8-5 Monday to Friday. No weekends
