FiveBy is Hiring a Remote Contract Recruiter (1099/Freelance)

FiveBy is looking for a Contract Recruiter (1099/Freelance) to contract with us during a period of rapid growth.The ideal candidate will have previous experience in full lifecycle recruiting within the technology space (previous concentration on FinTech or RegTech roles is a plus!). While this is not a “technical recruiting” role, some experience sourcing and screening for technical/data-oriented roles is a must, as are strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated success managing high-touch workflows.This position has an anticipated term of 6 months with the possibility of extension. This is a fully remote role; however, candidates must be located within the United States and must be available to work during Pacific Time Zone core hours.Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Plan and execute full lifecycle recruiting processes, including:
    • scheduling and facilitating requisition intake meetings
    • drafting job descriptions
    • prepping and coaching interview teams
    • candidate sourcing
    • conducting resume reviews, phone screens, and interview scheduling
    • scheduling and moderating interview team debriefs
    • managing offers and negotiations
  • Ensure FiveBy’s recruiting processes and practices are in alignment with best practices for inclusive hiring
  • Adhere to FiveBy’s recruiting program SOPs
Required Skills and Experience
  • 4 years of experience in full-lifecycle recruiting for SaaS organizations
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Demonstrated success in candidate sourcing and outreach
  • Experience filling roles across fields and experience levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to connect with individuals across functions, backgrounds, and experience levels.
  • Familiarity with technical screening/assessments and related best practices
Contracted pay rate: $60-$75/hour DOE

Work environment and physical demands

In order to perform this role, the selected employee must be able to operate within a standard office environment, with or without reasonable accommodation. This includes the ability to withstand long periods of staring at a computer screen, exposure to fluorescent lights, and repetitive motion associated with writing and/or continuous computer use. This role requires the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time, communicate with others via speech or text, and use hands or other tools to operate a computer and keyboard. Light to moderate lifting may be required. Due to the nature of our work, employees must be able to uphold the stress of traveling to client sites as well as adapt (within reason) to the conditions of client sites. Regular, predictable attendance is required, as is the ability to work outside of standard business hours as business needs dictate.
