The Opportunity

Pay Rate: $42 - $46 hourly

We are seeking a Nursing Supervisor to join our team. The Nursing Supervisor will promote and restore residents' health by developing day-to-day management and long-term planning of the resident care area. Your responsibilities will include hiring, onboarding, directing, mentoring, developing, and scheduling staff, including communicating job expectations and providing performance reviews.

What You’ll Do

Support the Team and our Residents

• Ensure proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants.
• Contribute to assessments (MDS/RAP's) and the development of a plan of care.
• Make nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care.
• Collaborate with the resident, members of the healthcare team.
• Record the administration of medication.
• RN will monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility.
• Follow procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies.

What You’ll Bring

Experience & Education

• Valid, unrestricted RN license, current CPR certification, current CEU requirements.
• Minimum of 1 year in long term care/geriatric nursing and supervisory experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate competency in the following areas: Staff supervision, assessment and resident care skills, medication management principles and practice, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business and clinical periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
• Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, nursing/Resident progress notes and nursing procedures.
