POSITION: Personal Lines Assistant Training Program

VISION OF THE ROLE:
At Fitts Insurance, a Personal Lines Assistant is a vital part of our team, dedicated to delivering personalized insurance solutions to our clients. You will support experienced Account Managers and work closely with clients to ensure their insurance needs are met with precision and care. This role is designed as a developmental pathway to greater responsibility, where you will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining critical insights and hands-on experience in client management and policy handling. This position is designed for driven individuals who are willing to take initiative and play a crucial role in our team’s success and pursue an official account manager status.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES:

- Mastering use of the agency management system

- Support high client retention and satisfaction

- Foster and maintain strong relationships between insurance carriers and clients.

- Work towards and achieve the role of Personal Lines Account Manager

MAJOR ACTIONS OR INITIATIVES:

- Obtain a Massachusetts insurance license, with training and support provided by Fitts Insurance.

- Participate in training sessions to learn detailed client service processes and insurance solution preparations.

- Demonstrate a commitment to cultivating trust in Fitts Insurance Agency by assisting in resolving client concerns promptly and courteously.

- Support initiatives in identifying cross-selling opportunities and generating new business through client interactions and referrals.

- Begin developing the skills to audit insurance programs and understand carrier underwriting guidelines through shadowing and guided practice.

DAILY ROUTINES:

- Daily handling of service requests and management of sensitive client data in line with agency standards.

- Regular preparation and review of client deliverables and account information to ensure coverage adequacy.

- Participation in team meetings to discuss client needs and coverage options.

- Consistent training and development sessions to improve knowledge of insurance products and client servicing skills.

- Ongoing evaluations with team leadership to assess progress towards career goals and development areas.
