Position Description:

Technical Instructors will conduct specific training for the 88M AIT Course utilizing simulators, classroom training and performance training on HEMTT- PLS/LHS and M915/M872 Tractor-Semitrailer Combination truck. Conduct periodic lesson reviews with students and answer questions pertaining to Training. Will annotate training on Equipment Operator’s Qualification Records and post evaluation results on Student Test History Forms.

Education and experience Requirements:

• have two (2) years documented civilian or military experience as a motor vehicle operator.
• Must have a current Commercial Driver’s License, Class A, with (P) endorsement.
• Prior work experience with the US Army Motor Transport Operation
• Possess experience teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military installation, or other industrial establishment, Military Occupational Specialty 88M10 or civilian equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Office computer program

Minimum Requirement:

• must have current Commercial Driver’s License, Class A.
• must maintain a valid Department of Transportation (DOT) medical physical.
• moderate lifting (not to exceed 40 lbs.), long period of standing, sitting or walking, and endure inclement weather conditions on occasion.
• must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• must be a U.S. Citizen.
• must be able to obtain and maintain a government Common Access Card (CAC).
• position requires the ability to obtain a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
• may be required to work uncommon hours of duty such as extended hours, nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
