The Fitchburg State University Upward Bound program is seeking multiple individuals to serve as committed Van Drivers during a Summer Residential program (June 20 - August 4, 2023). This 7 week position includes 1 training week and 6 weeks of daily Van Driving of high school program participants to Internship and other Community Service Learning locations (greater Fitchburg and Leominster, MA). Upward Bound is a federally funded college access program for income eligible/ potentially first generation college students.

• Must be an experienced, licensed driver willing and able to transport youth in a 15 passenger van to established Internship and Community Service Learning locations in greater Fitchburg and Leominster, MA
• Must be able to pass a University Driver verification
• Experience with youth programs and summer camps preferred
• Sensitivity to the needs of low income and first college generation population
• Ability to work in a team setting
• Must be able to satisfactorily pass a check conducted by the Criminal History Systems Board (CORI check); a background check satisfactory to the university and must be fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19 or have a documented and approved exemption.

Shift Information: Monday - Thursday, 12:00 - 5:00pm (June 20 - August 4). $15 per hour>
