Field Service Technician

• Play a crucial role in the smooth operation and high performance of dairy equipment at customer sites
• Serve local dairymen with the leading technology in service & equipment on the East Coast
• Perform avariety of service repairs and installation of dairy milking equipment
• Receive on-the-job training for those with previous mechanical, electrical, HVAC, automation, or trades experience
• Identify equipment failure
• Order parts & materials needed for the job
• Inspect the equipment after the repair
• Communicate with customers throughout the entire repair/installation process
• Maintain tools, inventory, and service vehicles
• Report all prospects, complaints, and sales leads to the dealership daily
• Join the on-call rotation

We seek a skilled Field Service Technician who has ideally worked with dairy equipment. If you have previous experience in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, automation, or the trades, please consider joining our team.

Our Ideal Field Service Technician:

• Experience: Experience working with dairy equipment is preferred; will provide on-the-job training to those with previous mechanical, electrical, HVAC, automation, or trades work history.
• Problem-solver: Strong ability to identify and determine problems to repair them.
• Efficient: Someone with time management skills and can prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Adaptable: Ability to function well in a fast-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
• Detailed: Persistence in identifying and determining the cause of a needed repair. Thoroughly assess service projects and systematically accomplish them. Highly organized.
• Great Communicator: You will interact with customers – must be courteous & friendly and able to develop professional relationships with coworkers, customers, and vendors.
• Computer Skills: Comfortable with MS Office & Google Suite.
• Clean Driving History: Must have a reasonably clean driving record for 5 years.
• Active: Able to lift up to 70 lbs., kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods. Comfortable working from a ladder and scaffolding. Working conditions may include, but are not limited to, farm environment, hazardous materials, electrical hazards, frequent driving, power tool operation, adverse weather conditions, and occasional forklift operation.
