Description

Fisher College in Boston seeks a full-time qualified Program Director/faculty member to teach IT courses, with specific skills in Cybersecurity at the Boston campus. Interested candidates please submit your CV and cover letter. 

Educational Requirements: 

  • Earned doctoral degree preferred, master’s degree with experience will be considered

Primary Duties

  • Teach undergraduate courses in person on campus
  • Update, manage and revise curriculum as required
  • Hire and train adjunct instructors as need
  • Act as academic advisor to students within the program
  • Contribute to the College through service related activities
  • Engage industry partners in creating internship, and mentorship opportunities for students.

Qualifications


Professional Requirements

  • Professional experience in information technology and computer science
  • Minimum of two years of college level teaching experience
  • Willingness to engage in a variety of instructional modalities.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Technical Requirements (Game development)

  • Proficient in used of Computer programming languages such as: C, C#, C , HTML5, JavaScript, Python. (C# is preferred)
  • Full-stack development knowledge.
  • Experience in full-cycle game development.
  • Proficient in software engineering principles.
  • 2D and/or 3D rendering and animation knowledge.
  • Ability to build systems on game engine technologies (Unity preferred).
  • Utilize game engines to test gameplay and combine art and coding assets.
  • knowledge of quality assurance QA and user performance analysis tools.
  • Ability to create, debug and modify relevant code.
  • Gaming hardware knowledge.
