**Regional Safety Manager**

General Utility Construction**Description**

Team Fishel , the Best Choice in Utility Construction, is hiring a Regional Safety Manager for our West Region operations. The responsibilities of this position include conducting safety training as well as updating and maintaining those programs. This position also includes conducting routine safety visits necessary to coach and reinforce Team Fishel's Accident Free Culture, including safety policies including PPE and identifying specific job hazards.

Responsibilities:

* Conducting routine visits to each of Team Fishel's Western Region operations (Arizona, California, and Nevada).

* Complete Life Saving Assessments with each visit, including debrief of findings and recommendations.

* Investigates reportable accidents, injuries and job damages as required, including root cause analysis.

* Develop, coordinate and conduct training as needed.

* Assist in preparation and presentation of materials for monthly, quarterly, and yearly safety meetings.

* Oversee and assist the Safety Coordinators at an area level.

* Participate in client driven safety meetings to stay informed on new policies and procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications:

* 3 years of experience in the utility construction business with a focus on safety.

* Candidates should be accredited in safety, including OSHA 30-hour and First Aid/CPR. Smith System Trainer certification is a plus

* Ability to perform audits and document findings of company procedures and practices.

* Must be an effective communicator, and computer literate with familiarity of MS Office.

* While not a requirement, being Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

* 50% travel throughout the Western Region (Arizona, California, and Nevada)

* Knowledge of California OSHA Laws and Regulations
