The end goal of Fishe is to change womens outdoor apparel forever to ensure comfort and confidence on their outdoor adventures..About This RoleAs the Director of Operations at Fishe, you'll manage operational efforts over Accounting, Warehouse, Production, and Customer Support. This role is for a leader who is forward thinking and will be in charge of devising and implementing standard operating procedures, budget management, team development, system building and strategy guidance. The role strikes a balance between strategic planning and hands-on execution.This will be a full-time on-site role, with preferences given to candidates based in Anchorage, AK with the possibility of remote for the right candidate.Roles and Responsibilities:Operations and Systems Management:Develop company and team OKRs and evaluate throughout the yearAudit KPIs to ensure team is measuring the correct metrics for company successTrack project status and product updates to the CEOStrong coordination between operations across all departments (Warehouse, Sales, Product, Marketing, Customer Support)Implement and maintain best practices in warehouse management, including picking, packing and shipping processesUphold solid rhythms of accountability for the team in a way of tasks and process managementAnalyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement data driven solutionsSupport system implementation for new sales channels and growth opportunitiesDiscover opportunities for cost savings, through technology implementationNegotiate terms to reduce costs in all facets of the businessManage relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring on-time product deliveryTeam Leadership and Strategy:Serve as an extension to the CEO, to amplify her vision and outputLead team weekly All HandsEstablish guidelines for professional developmentCoordinate team calendar for strategy meetings, quarterly reportingGuide new project ideas and spec the needs to take it from 0-1Proactive oversight on financial managementAnalyze profit margins versus the cost of goods, understand the impact of margin change as it relates to salesTie purchasing to budget to anticipate sales cycles and trends by monitoring inventory levels, managing cash flowStrategic planning to raise brand awarenessPurchasing quality control; serve as final check, ensuring each purchase order (PO) matches with the sales growth needs and budget constraintsTo routinely assess the growing companys challenges, strengths, and goals to continuously develop the business' long-term strategies.Skills, Abilities, and ExperienceExperience:7-10 years of experience in e-commerce operations or a related field, preferably in the apparel industry or a similar B2C (business-to-consumer) environment.Proven track record of leading and optimizing operational processesExperience in financial management, including budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reportingStrong understanding of inventory management, warehousing and fulfillmentAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExperience with systems implementationComfortable working on a small team and wearing many hatsHR, managing peopleQuickbooks experience is preferredShopify experience is a plusA passion for the outdoors and apparel industry is a plusSkills:Excellent analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to executives and other stakeholders.Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.Budget management expertise and a proven track record of staying within budget.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals.Flexibility to pivot on priorities on a moments noticeBig picture thinking with a holistic view of the company operations, but not afraid to dive into the detailsDesire to uplift and mentor your teamJob Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:Employee discountPaid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftAbility to Relocate:Anchorage, AK 99503: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person#J-18808-Ljbffr
