Job Summary:
We are an industry leading plastics packaging company that produces high-quality plastics and containers. We are looking for an Assistant Team Leader who can help support the daily production activities of our injection molding plant, ensure quality standards, and motivate our team of operators and technicians. Maintain all facets of injection molding and print machines.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, organizing, and coordinating the production schedule and workflow
• Assist and provide backup to the Team Leader in overseeing operations
• Perform Process Audits and color changes on Molding equipment
• Troubleshooting and resolving any maintenance issues on Print Line equipment
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations
• Training, coaching, and mentoring new and existing staff and enforcing PPE policies
• Operating a Lift to move materials as needed
• Communicating and collaborating with your team and managers
• Employees will be required to follow all relevant work instructions, adhere to company policy - including safety and health policies, and to complete any job requirements as directed by management.
• Have a good attendance per company policy.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A self-starter with strong motivation to learn and keep current on warehouse processes
• At least 2-3 years of injection molding experience
• At least 3-5 years of manufacturing experience
• Proven knowledge and skills in injection molding processes, materials, and equipment
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 80 per week
