About the team
The Global Statutory Reporting team handles the mandatory submission of financial information to government agencies in more than 50 countries worldwide.
This is a hybrid role with the expectation of being in the Jacksonville office a minimum of 2 days a week.
What you will be doing
Prepare annual audited and non-audited financial statements for multiple international subsidiary companies.
Perform financial audit procedures in relation to external audits of international subsidiary financial statements.
Works with external auditors to assist their audit of international subsidiary financial statements and to provide them requested supporting information in a timely and accurate manner.
Prepares financial reports for annual and quarterly tax return purposes and performs research in support of tax department.
Research accounting and financial reporting rules and regulations in assigned countries and apply them to assigned companies.
Analyzes and researches the financial statements and provides concise explanations for variances.
Manage various ad hoc queries.
What you bring:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
5 years of accounting and/or audit experience. Big 4 experience is preferred but not required.
Proficient ability to create spreadsheets and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and accounting software.
Knowledge of external auditing processes and procedures as well as accounting principles and financial statements.
Experience in analytical and statistical examination for complex problem solving and ability to communicate to leadership.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to work in an organized manner and consistently follow-up on tasks.
Added bonus if you have:
CPA license
International accounting experience
Considerable experience with reconciliations
