What You'll Do:
- Develop expertise in autism treatment funding, navigating payor obligations, and maximizing patient care via various funding avenues.
- Manage invoicing and collections of fees from health insurance, Medi-Cal, regional centers, school districts, and caregivers.
- Utilize strong communication skills to interact with caregivers, staff, and payors daily.
- Navigate electronic medical, educational, and billing records fluently.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail, reconciling accounts paid by multiple sources.
- Document all client account activity using FirstSteps MS 365 and Lumary platforms.
- Collaborate closely with Revenue Cycle Department colleagues and other teams to ensure accurate billing and payment, avoiding disruptions to services.
What We're Looking For:
- Fluency in using electronic medical and billing records.
- High school diploma, at minimum.
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic.
- A professional and collaborative mindset.
- Ability to thrive as a remote worker.
- Proficiency in FirstSteps MS 365 and Lumary platforms preferred.
